September is the favorite month of many experienced fly fishermen.
Lots of experienced fly fishermen love September in the Roaring Fork Valley because they know the kids are back in school,
the summer crowds have gone home, and there's a lot of great fishing up and down the valley! Wade and float fishing
are both very productive, with great dry fly fishing still on the Frying Pan and Upper Roaring Fork. Nymph fishing out
of the boat on the Fork and Colorado can be off the hook, and we have many days in the boat during September that are livened
up by big fish eating hoppers and streamers.. The Roaring Fork is sporting some very healthy trout populations with some new,
eager rainbows having been introduced by the DOW the past few weeks that are spreading out up and down the valley, joining
our large population of wild fish. WHAT'S NEW:
Even more new gear for 2010 from lots of great companies--including our newest additions--River Camo Reels from
Montana Fly Company. We are trying to get everything listed in our online shop as quickly as we can. Stop in or
