Colorado River –
Flow: 2670 cfs/Glenwood Springs
Conditions: Variable water clarity due to recent mudslides in Glenwood Canyon. Currently less than a foot of water-vis is present and is not very fishable. Hatches have consisted of Yellow Sally’s and PMDs midday with caddis in the evening hours. With the off-colored water, higher visibility flies like San Juan Worms, Rubberlegs, Prince nymphs etc will be good bets. When fishing resumes, we suggest concentrating on the morning and early afternoon hours to minimize stress on the fish with what will soon be warm water temps.
