Colorado River –

Flow: 4,520 cfs/Glenwood Springs

Conditions: She’s big right now but flows are falling and fishing is getting better daily – a nice reprieve from the sporty rowing and fast paced nature of the Roaring Fork. We are in a transitional stage right now where the big flies of early summer are slowly being replaced by smaller flies as fish are beginning to move off of the banks. Stoneflies, PMDs and caddis are the main fare right now along with the occasional hopper. Streamer fishing has been generally been limited to the morning hours. Feel free to call us for daily river conditions 970.963.5741
