Colorado River –
Flow: 3,270 cfs/Glenwood Springs
Conditions: Spring has sprung – water conditions have deteriorated with the recent warm weather and snowmelt. Though we might still see a few days of fishable conditions and improved clarity, you’ll have to be a local or get lucky with your timing to take advantage. Typical spring hatches of caddis, BWOs and stoneflies will be seen from now through runoff. Highwater favorites including worms, eggs, stones and streamers will be your best friends for a little while here. If you’re in the area the upper Roaring Fork and the Frying Pan are both in great shape and fishing well.
