Roaring Fork River

Flow: 156/Aspen, 475/Basalt, 667cfs/Glenwood Springs

Conditions: The lower river below the Crystal/Carbondale is seeing variable water conditions with early season runoff. Cool nights can often yield fishable conditions the following day. Caddis are now being seen in decent numbers will only increase in numbers over the next few weeks. BWOs and stoneflies are also of great importance. The middle river from Carbondale t0 Old Snowmass is perhaps seeing the best fishing as the river is clear and the hatches are blooming. Upper river anglers are seeing decent/good midge and BWO hatches on most days. Floating Anglers – The Westbank boat ramp is also open again and much improved.

The fly shop is loaded to the gills with a ton of new fly tying merch, new rods and reels, new logo apparel and so, so much more. Swing by and help support your local independant fly shop!
